ThinG - Free, Open Source Forms Designer For Thinlets
Dirk Möbius has created a free, open source forms designer for the Thinlet XUL toolkit. Dirk writes in the ThinG diary: ThinG has been created in 7 days. ...well, almost. But at least I got the main things running, including Cut'n'Paste of most of the Thinlet components. I made a record of the progress. Every night I made a screenshot of how ThinG was looking that day. Here it comes. More @ http://thing.sourceforge.net/progress/progress.html You can grab a copy @ http://sourceforge.net/projects/thing and find out more @ http://thing.sourceforge.net

Actually, ThinG now does a lot more than I mentioned on the "Progress" page: - All components are supported (except "bean"). - Load/Save and Import/Export of Thinlet XML documents. - There is a code generator, that generates empty method stubs for the callbacks mentioned in the Thinlet XML document. Give it a try! -- Dirk Möbius ThinG developer. Dirk Möbius [dmoebius@gmx.net] |

Hi, Well Done Dirk. I just wonder why "My" ThinG doesn't "save" any text property. Whether it's for some button, pannel ...etc. When ever it's text it's not saved. The resulting XML doesn't contain anything related to textfields. It works well for numeric properties.. Am I missing something??? Mehdi |
