Norbert Barbosa just announced that ScriptableThinlet v0.5 is now live.
Norbert writes: ScriptableThinlet allows you to code your actions directly inside the XUL file by using any BSF (Bean Scripting Framework) supported scripting language such as Javascript, Beanshell, Python or Groovy.
This new release adds:
- BSF support (rather than Beanshell only)
- line error reporting
- the 'me' keyword, as a replacement for 'this' inside scripts
- a main to direcly 'execute' a XUL file
- JDK 1.1 compatible (note: only the Rhino Javascript engine seems really compatible with JDK 1.1)
